20th December 2004

Junglinster Rock CD finished . See CD details here

8th November 2004

Intensive work on the CD by all, especially Roland, trying to get it ready for Christmas stocking fillers: its working title is 'Junglinster Rock' and it will comprise 5 cover tracks

(Make Me Smile) Come up and See Me, Substitute, The Night Before, Brown Eyed Girl, and Honky Tonk Women.

July 2004

Chris spends a significant part of his summer holiday being stared and laughed at while he is lying by the swimming pool. (Nothing unusual in this, but this time it’s because he is hammering a drum machine instead of reading Bild, like 98% of the other sun-worshippers. 6 new drum tracks as a result!)

June 2004

Alan buys a new Telecaster guitar and the last element of a working PA system (the power amp) is acquired through eBay. We get the chance to try it at a gig in Luxembourg town. Disaster! Huge sound problems due to our inexperience with the gear (though the Telecaster sounds great!)

May 2004

Set list now well into double figures after several trials and rejections. The first track for the CD now recorded in rough form (the Steve Harley hit ‘Make me Smile (Come up and see me)’, and Roland begins to work his magic ….

6th April 2004

Confirmation of a gig at a pub in Luxembourg’s Grund (Oscar Wilde’s)  - with no sound system of our own, we’ll have to borrow one…

March 2004

Roland Smith of the New! Hamsterjams band, who has recently set up a home studio, offers to record us (a learning experience on both sides of the mixing desk, but a brilliant, fun project for all concerned).

26th February 2004

This site first opens.

30th January 2004

Joe and the OTs play their first live gig at the 7e Art Café Contern, Luxembourg, supporting Inside Track. Just 7 songs, but stage fright enough for 700…       See Gallery Here.

15th January 2004

After much debate, Chris's choice of

is adopted.

10th January 2004
