Financial Support for Musical Projects in Luxembourg

Introduction

The backline! Support Fund was created to support local bands having achieved a fairly high level and intend to take their career one step further to professionalism. An initial fund of 10.000 Euro will be under the sole discretion of backline! asbl. The different funds are:

• Touring Fund (promotional tours outside of Luxembourg)
• CD Production Fund (currently only for promotional, non-commercial compilations)
• Organization Fund (Festivals, Concerts, Contests ...)

Fund Administration

The backline! Support Fund is managed by a working group set up by the administration board of backline! asbl. This group will analyse each submission and make its recommendations to the backline! administration board who will then approve or reject the project. More detailed information about the backline! Announcement

Due to the fact that the Ministry of Culture has for incomprehensible reasons cancelled the convention signed between backline! and the Ministry back in 2004, we are sorry to announce that our Support Fund is suspended until further notice. We are working on a solution to the problem and we will keep you informed.
